A place to start, belong and keep playing
We launched junior cricket at Outwoods to give local children a friendly first experience of the game and help cricket grow in the Loughborough community.
We want children to enjoy their cricket, make friends and feel part of the club, while giving those who want to keep developing a pathway towards senior cricket at Outwoods in the future.

Mixed, welcoming sessions for children discovering cricket and those who already love the game.
Dynamos Cricket
Our main junior programme for ages 8–11, using fun, game-based sessions to develop batting, bowling and fielding. Dynamos returns in summer 2027.
All Stars
We are exploring All Stars Cricket for ages 5–8 in 2027, giving younger children an earlier first step into cricket at Outwoods.
Winter cricket
We may also run indoor junior cricket over winter. Families interested in taking part can contact us.
Friday evenings at Nanpantan
Our 2026 Dynamos programme ran every Friday evening at Nanpantan Sports Ground on Watermead Lane, with plenty of cricket and a relaxed club atmosphere for children and families.
Junior cricket will return in summer 2027. Exact dates, times and registration details will be published once confirmed.
New to cricket? Absolutely fine
Our junior sessions are mixed and open to boys and girls. No previous club-cricket experience is needed.
Dynamos is aimed at 8–11-year-olds. If All Stars is added for 2027, it will provide an option for 5–8-year-olds too.
